Every other year, Sinfonia Smith Square is honoured to perform a special concert on the Italian island of Ischia.

Situated by the sea in the stunning gardens of La Mortella (the former residence of Lady Walton and her husband, composer Sir William Walton) it is a concert with a view!

When is the Ischia Tour Concert?

How do I reach Ischia from the mainland?

Take a ferry or hydrofoil (faster/more expensive option) from Naples. There are different ferry terminals/ports on the island, depending on if you are driving or travelling by foot. If you aren’t driving, taxis/buses are available to take you from the port/ferry terminals. Using a travel agency can be the easiest way to navigate the island and plan your itinerary.

How do I access the gardens?

Do I need to make dinner plans?

It’s best to make dinner plans in advance. For 2024, Sinfonia Smith Square will be heading to a nearby sea-front restaurant, Ristorante La Rondinella da Anna, on the evening of Wednesday 17 July, and also after the concert on Thursday 18 July. Do say if you would like to join us.
