You can book tickets for all performances here on our website by following the ‘Book Now’ link on the event listing. If it’s your first time, we’ll ask you to create an account – that way you can keep and manage all your bookings, details, and preferences in one place. Our website offers a real-time, secure online booking service available 24 hours a day.

In person

Opening Times: Weekdays 10:00am to 5.00pm (or until the start of the performance on event days).

Our Box Office and Welcome Desk can be found in the foyer on the way to the Footstool Cafe and Bar, and is reached via the Box Office Entrance, opposite Dean Stanley Street (the entrance closest to the river).

When available, tickets are available at the Box Office before a performance. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

For weekend events the Box Office will open 90 minutes before the advertised start time of the performance (e.g. 6pm for a 7.30pm concert).

Please note: To help ease congestion at the Box Office before events, it may be necessary to pause advance bookings during the hour prior to a concert.

Concessions

Selected concerts and events at Sinfonia Smith Square have concession prices available. Please check individual listings for full details and prices.

Children

Unless otherwise indicated, tickets need to be booked for all children aged 2 and over. Any children under this age do not require a ticket but must be seated on the lap of any accompanying adult.

Sinfonia Smith Square welcomes families with small children to family-friendly concerts and events, and for these events family tickets or discounts for children are usually available. Under-30s

A limited number of Under 30s £8.00 (no booking fee) tickets are available for selected events at Sinfonia Smith Square. Please see our Under-30s page to find out more and sign up for free.

Group Discounts

For some performances a group discount may be available for parties of 10 or more. Please contact the Box Office to find out more.

We charge an 8% booking fee, or commission, on the sale of each ticket online and over the phone. For example, that’s £1.60 on a £20 ticket. The amount of commission added is shown in brackets next to the ticket price.

What are the Booking Fees for?

Booking fees contribute to covering our Box Office administrative costs. This means that income from tickets can go directly to our visiting promoters and towards developing the Artistic Programme on offer at Sinfonia Smith Square.

Online & by phone

All tickets purchased online and by telephone are subject to the standard booking adminstration fee.

In the event of a ticket refund or return, the booking fee is non-refundable.

In person

There is no booking fee for tickets purchased in person at the Box Office.

Members

Some levels of membership do not pay booking fees during Priority Booking periods.

We are a cashless venue, and no longer accept cash payments for bookings or merchandise. We accept contactless or card payments (Visa & Mastercard) at the Box Office, in the cafe, and for any programme and other merchandise sales during events.

All tickets booked online and over the phone are issued as e-tickets. You will be sent an email confirming your booking and then your e-tickets will follow separately as a PDF.

Please have your e-ticket available on your device or print it out at home to bring with you. The email with ticket attachment will be sent from tickets@bookings.sinfoniasmithsq.org.uk

If you can’t find your e-tickets, please first check your spam folder. If you still can’t find them please contact the Box Office team and they can check your booking and resend your tickets.

We are happy to print out paper tickets at the Box Office for customers who would prefer it. Please come and ask at the desk when you arrive before a concert.

We no longer send out tickets by post.
