What are we raising funds for?

We’re raising vital funds for our artist development programme, the beating heart of our music-making at Smith Square Hall. Each year, we welcome 34 of the world’s most promising musicians to form an orchestra. With the opportunity to collaborate with the greatest names in the industry, perform in concerts each week, and explore a variety of genres, our musicians benefit from the highest level of expertise and take their music careers to new heights, all whilst receiving a tax-free bursary to take part.

Through our year-long development programme, our musicians learn to become strong orchestral players, confident communicators, inspirational leaders, and innovative artists, with a breadth of repertoire knowledge and an awareness of the physical and mental health required of a musician.
