Biography

Robert Laurence is a highly respected property investor and developer with a career spanning nearly four decades. As Chairman of Urban Vision, he leads a UK-based residential and commercial property specialist. Previously, he co-founded and chaired Resolution Property, overseeing the acquisition of over €5 billion in assets across Europe and delivering landmark urban developments such as Greater London House (Camden), Alphabeta (Shoreditch), Soho House (Berlin), and Great Northern Warehouse (Manchester). Earlier in his career, he was Investment Director at Argent and worked in corporate finance at J Henry Schroder Wagg.

Beyond his professional work, Robert is deeply involved in the arts and philanthropy. He is a Trustee of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Sinfonia Smith Square, and a Board Member at JW3. His past trusteeships include Trust for London, the Gabrieli Consort and Players, and the European Youth Orchestra, alongside committee roles at The Courtauld Institute of Art and the Royal College of Music. A graduate of the London School of Economics and a trained barrister, he has a lifelong passion for chamber music, literature, history, theatre, opera, and outdoor pursuits. He is married and has seven children.
