Biography

Heidi is a renowned influencer and committed advocate for those excluded from participation in education, the Arts and culture. She is passionate about creating opportunities for young people using her experience in philanthropy and as an experienced Board member, trustee and mentor within the not-for-profit sector.  Heidi’s career covers experience both on the stage and off the stage. Having had a successful career as a performer, she has also held senior Executive positions and led capital campaigns. As Director of Central School of Ballet, Heidi led their Capital Campaign raising £10m to move the school to it’s new home on the Southbank and was pivotal in working closely with their Royal Patron, on the naming of the new building, The Countess of Wessex Studio’s.  She remains a member of the President’s Circle at the school. Her career also includes working with Ballet Black, Eden Court Theatre, The BBC Proms, Musicians Benevolent Fund, (now Help Musicians) The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Cameron Mackintosh, Costello Medical, Stephen Perse Foundation, Cambridge 2030. In 2018 Heidi was recognised by the annual Third Sector Awards winning the Rising Chief Executive Award.
