Permission to film or photograph anywhere on our property is always required. To apply for permission, arrange a site visit and for all other enquiries, please email the venue hire team: info@sinfoniasmithsquare.org.uk

Filming and photography can be arranged any day of the week. Our building is accessible between 8am-12am. Consideration will be given to opening outside of these hours depending on the size of the production and the impact on our neighbours. In line with our premises licence, all doors to the building must be closed if recorded or live music is performed in Smith Square Hall.

A lift is available which provides access between the Crypt, street level and Smith Square Hall (maximum load 900kg).

Power is included in all hires. Standard 13amp plug sockets are available throughout the building. A 3-phase 125amp outlet is available on the south side of the gallery in the main hall. Please note hirers need to supply their own distro box.

The use of haze, smoke and pyrotechnics must be pre-agreed prior to filming in order to make adjustments to our fire detection system and a nominated fire marshal must be present with any suspension of our alarm system.

Off-street parking is available on the south-east side of the building. The parking area can accommodate 4-5 standard vehicles.

Parking suspension for bays around Smith Square is administered by Westminster City Council.

Male and female, wheel-chair accessible and gender-neutral toilets are located in our public café/bar area. There are also male and female toilets located next to our dressing room which are away from the public area.

Our onsite catering partner Leafi can provide options for catering. Although we are unable to permit cooking onsite, external catering provided by unit base caterers is permitted.
