Siegfried features a world-class cast of singers and musical direction by Peter Selwyn who has assisted on Bayreuth and Royal Opera House productions of Der Ring des Nibelungen.
Siegfried has been raised by the nasty dwarf, Mime. He pieces together his father’s shattered sword, Nothung. Mime wants the ring and the gold guarded by the giant dragon Fafner. Siegfried slays Fafner, taking the ring and the magic helmet (the Tarnhelm) and kills Mime.
