Between the restless 7th symphony and beloved 9th sits Dvořák’s ‘Symphony No.8’, a work of sunny exuberance filled with Bohemian folk melodies, heartfelt nostalgia, trumpet fanfares, musical thunderstorms, and birdsong.

“Melodies simply pour out of me”, proclaimed Dvořák whilst writing this radiant and optimistic work. Bringing this flow of melodies to life, hear Sinfonia Smith Square’s musicians celebrate this symphony’s charm and vitality in an hour-long Rush Hour concert.
