Holy Spirit Mass
Through utterly beautiful, uplifting music, the Holy Spirit Mass interweaves the familiar Mass texts with English translations of the 9th-century Veni Creator Spiritus (‘Come Creator Spirit’) and Martin Luther’s hymn Come Holy Ghost, God and Lord. The programme also features inspiring works by some of our great British composers including Vaughan Williams, Parry, Purcell, Byrd and Tallis. All proceeds will be donated to support the Cardinal Hume Centre (a Westminster-based homelessness and poverty charity); the Charity for Civil Servants; and Sinfonia Smith Square.
