An award-winning classical pianist of Nigerian-Filipino heritage, Adam Heron is the titleholder of the 2020 Harriet Cohen Bach Prize, and a laureate of multiple British and international competitions. Born in Hong Kong, he rose to prominence following his 2018 television debut as a BBC Young Musician piano finalist. Through his unique artistry, coupled with an innate flair for communication, Adam strives to become a leading ambassador for classical music.

His concert will begin with a thought-provoking performance of Metamorphosis One by Philip Glass, followed by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s charming collection of Three Silhouettes. In part two, you will experience William Bolcom’s toe-tapping ragtime suite The Garden of Eden, after which Adam will conclude his recital with a much-celebrated piano classic: the Andante Spianato et Grande Polonaise Brillante by Frédéric Chopin.
