Sinfonia Smith Square’s orchestral Fellowship enables musicians to take their careers to new heights. Each year, we welcome 34 of the world’s most promising musicians to form an orchestra.
With the opportunity to collaborate with the greatest names in the industry, perform in world-famous venues, and explore a variety of genres, our musicians benefit from the highest level of expertise. It is a community where exciting talents find their voice and creative strengths, fulfil personal goals, and make lasting contacts.
Our musicians go on to become leaders in the classical music world. With over 650 alumni, many occupy Principal positions in world-renowned orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Aurora Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their career regardless of their background or financial means. That’s why it’s free to audition for Sinfonia Smith Square, and every player receives a tax-free bursary to help with the cost of living in London.
